Class 10

Today I was having problems and I have to say I was getting a little upset. So I want to thank you both for taking time to help me out. Maybe it is just the new storm coming our way or we are all waiting for vacation. I will do better at next class.

Class 9

Today we worked with power point. I was able to remember some of what John had taught us last year on using this tool. I felt this was a great review and practice on using this skill. The more practice I have the more I am able to remember what I need to do on my own. I just need to remember to keep trying things out on my own and not worry about what I am doing.

Class 7

Today has been very helpful with setting up research and research sites with students. I am starting to feel that I can keep up with out asking for help all the time. I thought the Kids-site was great and using bubble.us was fun.

Class 6

I have to admit that I am feeling more comfortable using the internet. I very much liked making the tables and have been using that a lot for classroom work. Some of the sites have been huge that you have introduced us to, but very helpful information. I have been taking the time to look through these for use with classroom projects.

Class 4

Today I think I was on overload. Today we were doing a lot of things that I have not done before and using different sights that were huge. I can't believe all the kids information that is out there safe and free.

Class 3

Today was great I can't believe that I learned how to creat a table by myself.
Finding the rubric maker was the best find in a long time. I can't believe all the time that I have spent making these out on my own. Seeing how quick and easy this was to find and produce makes me wonder why I have waited so long to do this.

March 5 class

Today we worked on getting into and using Blogger. We also worked on task definition. Dan came into class to start us off with his presentation on task definition and asking questions for the kids to focus their thinking and learning. We visited a web sight that had great workpages all made up for use in our classrooms. I found this to be very helpful with some of the projects I will be doing with my 4th graders working on their Maine projects.
